Hello CSI membership and college partners,
Over the last few months, CSI has been working to evolve its programs and service offerings to meet the changing needs of our dynamic student population.
While we understand that there will be an impact with any type of organizational shift, we hope that by making strategic adjustments we can better serve your student experience from Spring semester and beyond.
With this in mind, we would like you to be aware of the following service adjustments and/or closures:
- Our Waterloo Grocery Run route ceased operations as of March 12. The Doon Grocery Run route will stop operations on April 15
- The Emergency Support Bursary application form will stop accepting applications on April 17
- Practitioner services through The Wellness Office at Doon campus will close on May 1
- CSI will no longer provide academic appeal support as of May 2
- The CSI Shuttle services will reduce route offerings for Spring semester and discontinue operations on August 15
- The Student Nutritional Access Program (or SNAP) will pause operations for the Spring semester. As we recognize that food security is an integral part of the student experience, we will announce SNAP program updates by August 15
While we are saddened by the closure of programs that have been with you for many years, we look forward to continuing to provide engaging events, resources, and support options to enhance the students experience at Conestoga College. The CSI Website will remain up to date with current services that you can continue to access.
For questions regarding the elimination of the Student Advocates (Academic Appeals Support), kindly reach out to Justin McLaughlin, Sr. Manager, Advocacy at jmclaughlin2@conestogac.on.ca.
