What is an Annual General Meeting?

Every year, Conestoga Students Inc. (CSI) hosts an Annual General Meeting (also know as The AGM) for our members — yes, we are talking about you! You aren’t just a student at Conestoga, you are a member of CSI, and because you are a member, we have some updates we need to share with you.

At the AGM you will have the opportunity to learn what happened in our previous operating year, our plans for the future, an overview of our financial position, and changes we have made to our bylaws.

When is the 2022-2023 Annual General Meeting?

The 2022-2023 Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12PM — 1 PM.

Where is the Annual General Meeting taking place?

This year’s AGM will be hosted at The Venue on Doon campus and livestreamed at Brantford, Guelph, Waterloo, Downtown Kitchener, Reuter, and Cambridge campuses. For those unable to join in person, students can also attend the AGM virtually.

How can I get involved?

There are two simple ways you can get involved with the Annual General Meeting! Join us at the meeting to hear all our updates and have your voice heard by voting on items for approval! If you are unable to attend, you can submit your votes by completing a proxy in place of being present while still having your voice heard!
