3 Challenges to Help Improve your Wellness this Semester!

Challenging yourself can be difficult but it sure is rewarding! To kick off Health and Wellness Week try CSI’s 10,000 Step Challenge! Beginning June 13th, students will have the opportunity to challenge themselves to walk 10,000 steps during this week. The challenge will come to an end on June 19th, in which students must share with us proof of their completion of 10,000 steps for a chance to win a Fitbit Sense Smartwatch!

 

But wait, improving your wellness shouldn’t stop there! Here are 3 challenges to put yourself to the test this semester:¬†

 

Exercise 

A 30-day exercise challenge can be a great way to stay active and have fun simultaneously!

Try to do a certain number of sit-ups, push-ups, or squats each day. These challenges are a great way to test yourself and keep motivated. Committing to a workout challenge can help kickstart your fitness journey or allow you to build your strength and agility.

Better yet, encourage a friend to take part in this challenge with you to hold each other accountable!

 

 

 

 

 

Drink More Water

A challenge that you to drink water is another great option. When it comes to drinking water there are SO many benefits!

Including improved digestion, reduced fatigue, increased energy, and a reduced risk of headaches.

Challenge yourself to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. Keeping hydrated is crucial to a healthy lifestyle, and productivity.

 

 

 

 

Pack Your Lunch

A challenge that encourages healthy habits, such as packing your lunch is not only healthy for your well-being but will help boost your productivity for the day.

In this challenge, set a goal of what to eat in a day, for example how many servings of fruits, vegetables, or protein will you consume each day for optimal health.

Holding yourself accountable for packing a lunch each day is a great building block to incorporating doing so into your daily routine!
