Your guide to the 38th annual Polar Plunge

Our 38th annual Polar Plunge is taking place on Wednesday, February 13th at 12-2 p.m. and this year we will be raising money for the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region (SASC). This will be a fun event where you can get free hot chocolate and watch Conestoga students jump into an ice cold pool for a great cause. Here are things you need to know for the event:

1. You can still plunge on the day of, just make sure to bring a donation and sign up!
You’ll be able to sign up still on the day of the event. You can bring a donation to plunge and we will have towels ready for you! Make sure to bring a costume of your choice, or bring warm clothes for afterwards. Have fun taking the plunge!

2. There will be a live stream and snacks in The Venue.
This year, the event will be taking place in the back of The Venue by the patio. You can head down to The Venue and enjoy watching our live stream of the event and get some snacks too!

3. CTV Kitchener, 107.5 Dave Rocks and 91.5 The Beat will be in attendance.
CTV News Kitchener will be there, and Reporter Stu Gooden will be taking the plunge too. 107.5 Dave Rocks and 91.5 The Beat will also be there to host the event! Come enjoy their music, and enjoy watching the plungers in action.
