The Region of Waterloo is encouraging public transit users to prepare for a potential transit strike on Monday, May 1. In the event of a strike, no buses will be running in the region. ION train service will continue to operate according to schedule
If there is a transit strike, activities at Conestoga, including spring Orientation sessions, will continue as scheduled. Students and employees who rely on public transit are advised to make alternative plans for travel.
Visit Grand River Transit’s website for information regarding alternative transportation options, including carpooling or using taxi or rideshare services. Transportation alternatives are also available on Conestoga’s Parking website.
