CSI Food Banks

The CSI Food Bank is a partner agency of the Region of Waterloo Food Bank. The CSI Food Bank distributes regular, vegetarian or family sized food hampers that offer a supply of non perishable food items. Typically the hampers provide approximately 3 to 5 days of food relief. Students are able to receive a hamper no more than once per calendar month.

The Food Bank is an emergency food relief program for students in need, those who are struggling financially, or are going through a tough situation.

Please note that we do not offer a ‘free grocery’ program and our service is meant to help those in need or undergoing hardships while in school. Our program is run on donations and resources are limited.
To register for the program, please complete the program application below. Student information is recorded in the Region of Waterloo client database, Link2Feed. All information is kept strictly confidential.

Program registration is only needed the first time a student accesses the program.

Returning students may request a hamper through the ‘Request Form’ linked below. Students will be contacted by a Food Bank Staff member when the request has been fulfilled. Hampers will available for pickup at your preferred campus within 24-48 hours.

The food bank is closed (for all campuses) as of August 17 and will re-open on September 3.

Applications received by August 16 will be fulfilled and can be picked up by August 23.

After you fill our a request form you will be contacted with details on when and where to pick up your food hamper
