What is an Annual General Meeting?

Every year, CSI hosts an Annual General Meeting (AGM) for our members. If you didn’t know you aren’t just a student at Conestoga, you are a member of CSI, and because you are a member, we have updates we need to share with you. They normally include things like:

  • What happened in our previous operating year
  • What CSI is planning on doing in the future
  • What CSI’s financial position looks like
  • What changes we have made to our bylaws

When is the Annual General Meeting

Make sure to put a reminder in your calendar for October 2022 to check back here for the date as that is when we will be hosting our next AGM!

How can you get Involved with the Annual General Meeting?

There are two easy ways you can get involved once we announce the date:

  1. Join us at the meeting to hear all our updates and have your voice heard by voting on items for approval!
  2. Submit your votes by completing a proxy instead of attending to still have your voice heard!

Last Year’s Annual Report (2020-2021)

Until we announce the date for the next Annual General Meeting, check out last year’s Annual Report! CSI has put together an Annual Report that accounts for our operations last year. Take a look at what we offered students last year, and get involved with our Annual General Meeting for important information like bylaw updates that will affect students moving forward.

CSI’s Annual General Meeting took place on October 18, 2021.
