CSI’s On Campus Services

COVID-19 has reshaped the world, but it has not stopped CSI and our student community. Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, our goal was to stay connected to our membership and deliver the CSI experience virtually. CSI offered student relief initiatives and funding, provided support services, delivered diverse programming, and moved the majority of our team to a work from home model.

While the pandemic has changed how we operate, we will transition back to campus and rediscover what the full CSI experience will be in this post pandemic climate. Modifications to service offerings will be intentional, and operations will be introduced to on campus in a phased approach. This transition will begin over the coming months.


PHASE 1:

Under Phase 1, CSI’s goal is to reintroduce on campus services to the student body on the Doon, Cambridge, and Waterloo Campuses. These services will be heavily modified, and every attempt will be made to limit in-person social interaction. Additionally, planned live-events and on-campus activities will increase, as appropriate.

PHASE 2:

Under Phase 2, CSI will begin offering on-campus dinning through our food service outlets at the Doon campus. Services, events, and programming will continue to expand at Doon, Cambridge, and Waterloo and will be formally reintroduced at DTK, Guelph, Brantford to maintain a more frequent schedule.
Please note that this phase has been modified in response to the pandemic.

PHASE 3:

The ultimate goal of this phase is to have a full return to services with no limitations. CSI has forever been changed by this pandemic. Having strived to find new ways of servicing students in a virtual medium, we’re looking forward to continue servicing students in a fuller way with both in person and virtual offerings moving forward.
