What is the CSI Food Bank?

The CSI Food Bank is an emergency food relief program for current Conestoga College students. The food bank is one way CSI aims to support students of Conestoga College.  Our Food Bank is a member agency of the Waterloo Region Food Bank. Students who need to access the CSI Food Bank can do so at no cost during the designated hours.

How can a student use the CSI Food Bank?

It is simple, just visit us in room 2A121 during the designated hours, fill out the required form, show your student ID and simply pick up a pre packaged hamper. 

CSI Food Bank Policies and Procedures:

  1. A valid Conestoga Student ID card is required for hamper pick-up.
  2. Clients must complete the Hunger Count Form prior to receiving a hampers.
  3. Clients may access the CSI Food Bank twice every 30 days.
  4. Single clients are limited to one pre-packaged hamper per visit .
  5. Clients with dependants are limited to two pre packaged hampers per visit.

How can I support the CSI Food Bank?

Drop –In Donations: The CSI Food Bank welcomes community donation of monetary and non-perishable food items.  Donations can be made at anytime to the following offices:

Event Donations:  If you have an event and wish to collect food on behalf of the CSI Food Bank, please contact Conestoga Students Inc.  

Food Drives:  Seasonally, the CSI Food Bank runs various events around campus, ie. stuff a bus, Photos for Food to help keep our food bank stocked during the school year.
