Student Rep program was created to establish a link between the students of Conestoga College and their Student Association, Conestoga Students Inc. The program acts as a two-way communication platform where student reps will have the opportunity to voice ideas, concerns and feedback on behalf of their peers, while acting as an ambassador of CSI by delivering news back to students.

The Student Rep Program acts as a two way communication platform between CSI and students

The information that is collected by Student Reps is used to help steer CSI as an organization. This program is critical in developing where CSI needs to grow to ensure we are properly representing all 12,000+ full-time students across all seven campuses.

How do I become a Student Rep?

All you need to do to become a Student Rep is to be a fee paying student at Conestoga College and submit and fully completed application form. It’s that simple! All successful candidates will be contacted by email.

Each candidate will be expected to:

  1. attend and participate in mandatory monthly meetings
  2. meet the time requirements and responsibilities of the program
  3. be actively connected with students and classmates on a regular basis
  4. check email regularly for updates and important messages

What’s in it for me?

Not only is being a Student Rep a great way to connect with your peers and become an important member in your school community, but it also looks great on a resume.

Additionally, Student Reps who complete a term will be recognized on the Co-Curricular Record and have the opportunity to apply for one of three $500 bursaries awarded to reps who demonstrate excellence and show leadership.

Mandatory meeting dates that all Student Reps must attend will be posted here as they become available.
