Learn more about the GSL trips

Conestoga Students Inc. offers two Global Service Leadership (GSL) trips each year. The GSL trips are opportunities for students to volunteer in a community abroad, experience a new culture, travel, and connect with others. Students will learn about their destination, receive fundraising support, and bond with their peers prior to departure. Students may only apply for one GSL trip. The GSL trips are fully planned and booked by Conestoga Students Inc.

To help students offset the cost of the trip, the Leadership Development Coordinator provides fundraising support. The Winter and Spring GSL groups will fundraise separately. Participation is mandatory as the funds raised are distributed evenly among the teams before their respective trips. Resources for personal fundraising are also provided.

  • Develop skills including teamwork, communication, fundraising, and more
  • Meet new people and form friendships
  • Unique volunteer, travel, and cultural immersion experience
