A Message From Your CSI President – Thoughts on the Faculty Strike

A message from your CSI President, Aimee Calma.

Conestoga Students Inc., the official student association at Conestoga College, understands that the Ontario College Faculty strike that could occur on October 16, 2017, is a concerning issue. Being a student is stressful, and the thought of missing out on classes only adds to that stress, but we as the student association are committed to making sure our students are informed and that our CSI services are impacted as little as possible.

We are communicating with both OPSEU and Conestoga administration, and are working diligently to ensure the non-academic side of our students’ experience is relatively unchanged. We always encourage Conestoga students to reach out to their local MPPs to ask further questions and encourage both parties to reach a resolution in this matter.

If you would like to connect with Aimee on this matter, please email acalma1@conestogac.on.ca.
